  • Wet-Laid Nonwovens
    Wet-Laid NonwovensHirose Paper manufactures a wide variety of Wet-Laid Nonwovens with highly sophisticated performance. Hirose’s products are mainly based on synthetic fibers. The thickness of Nonwovens can be controlled down to Ultra-Thin Level. Product lineup consists of 1) VN with 100% of vinylon, 2) TH with 100% of polyester, 3) HOP with 100% of polyolefin, 4) EP with two layers of polyester and polypropylene, and 5) HOS with 100% of polyester or mixture of pulp and polyester.

  • Ultra-Thin Wet-Laid Nonwovens
    Ultra-Thin Nonwovens have been acquiring a key role in a hiUltra-Thin Nonwovensgh technology application. However, it is hard to manufacture thin Nonwovens, especially, with basis weight less than 15 GSM (g/m2).
    Hirose Paper manufactures Ultra-Thin Nonwovens which are much lighter than 15 GSM with good formation. The lowest basis weights which Hirose Paper can achieve are:
    – Polyester Nonwoven: 5 GSM
    – Polyolefin Nonwoven: 2 GSM
    – Vinylon Nonwoven: 8 GSM

  • Nanofiber Overlaid Nonwovens
    Nanofiber Overlaid NonwovensHirose Paper established the process to produce nanofiber in large quantities, using nozzle-free electrospinning technology.
    This nanofiber is overlaid on Hirose’s Ultra-Thin Wet-Laid Nonwoven to significantly reduce its pore size. As well as the reduction of pore size, Hirose’s overlay technique contributes the ease in handling with no loss of nanofiber’s superior properties. In addition, this technique enables to offer new exciting properties which nonwovens has not ever achieved.
